Hi

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging so I guess I should introduce myself.

I am a 20 something newlywed in the south.

My husband is an INCREDIBLE man, and by far is absolutely the perfect man for me (seriously... I made one of those "qualities I want in a guy" lists long before I even knew he existed... and my husband exceeds every single expectation I had on that list... even the silly ones like "enjoys cleaning the bathroom").

My parents live about 4 hours away from me while my in-laws are only about 7 minutes away. My sister is a freshman at a nearby (wonderful) college and recently pledged Alpha Delta Pi (I was a Theta) there. It's really great having family close by/within driving distance.

My job is one of the typical entry level jobs in sales/customer service (definitely not the dream job I envisioned while in college, but much better than no job at all).

My husband and I bought a house this summer, so I've been trying to learn how to decorate a real house and cook real meals. Thank goodness he's a great sport at eating whatever I cook (most of the time it's actually pretty good!). We also adopted our first "child" in July. His name is Scout, he's a black lab, and this is his most recent picture:

As for the name of my blog, I decided on it because it's the little moments in life like kissing my husband good morning/good night, teaching Scout new tricks, having a really good laugh with friends and family, and celebrating each weekday that makes it to 5pm (freedom!) that bring smiles to my face and remind me of how blessed I really am.
