3:52

Without going into too many details, B has a big project coming up next week at work. The woman who has been in charge of a majority of this project for the last 3 years has recently accepted another job and seems to have checked-out mentally. Because she's leaving soon, a TON of extra work has fallen on B to complete prior to next week.

After working extra hours B and his supervisor had a good handle on the amount of work left to do earlier this week. Still a LOT but manageable. Then this woman decided to add an additional 25+ items to the list... that she's had/known about since May and she "forgot about until the week before."

I had a rough afternoon at work yesterday, both B and I were drained last night, and we ended up working on one of the projects I could help him with for 4 hours of our evening last night. We get to bed, mentally exhausted, around midnight.

At 3:52 AM our house phone rings. I immediately freak out since our families are really the only ones who call that number and they don't call in the middle of the night unless its something important.

We don't wake up quick enough to catch the phone before it stops ringing, but B notices that his cell phone (on silent) has a voicemail. He checks it.

It was this woman... calling to let him know she was up and working if he had any questions for her whenever he woke up.

I had a question for her.... where in the world does she get the idea that it is acceptable to call someone's house in the middle of the night (AFTER you've already left a message on the cell phone) just to say "I'm up working" ????

If it is not an extreme emergency it can wait until work.

Needlesstosay it was tough going back to sleep after that wake-up call.

It just might be a long day today. Please pray for B as he gets to spend 10 hours today with this crazy woman.

Oh no she di-in't! How incredibly rude and bizarre -- totally unacceptable. Hopefully he has a good day and you both get some sleep tonight!
