Things with SA's surgery went well. The tumor was not attached to her brain stem so it was relatively easy to remove (all things considered), and when they tried to keep her awake afterwards last night she was back to her typical self of wanting to go back to sleep.
So far recovery is going great.
Thanks soo much for your thoughts and prayers this week! I would imagine she's got a long road ahead of her if there are any changes in her motor skills and such, but the worst should be behind her.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'll be visiting my hometown to see my parents and grandparents for the first time since Christmas and going to a bridal shower. It's going to be nice to get away from things for a few days and see people I can't see all the time.... Now if 5:00 would just get here.. :-)
