B is in a meeting with his supervisor at this very moment being "reviewed" and considered for early promotion... his company has a rating system that is very strenuous and it is incredibly difficult to get consecutive "exceeds expectations" ratings (the highest rating on the scale)... and B has gotten 2 in a row... if he gets a 3rd EE rating then he's promoted (includes a sweet raise) 6 months early...
The anticipation of finding out how it went is making it very difficult to focus on work right now.
He's worked so many hours and put up with so much for this company and the past 18 months have led up to this meeting. I just hope he gets a good rating because he deserves it!
